Audit and remediation

Find the barriers. Plan the work. Fix the website.

Indicative priceFrom €2,500

We turn accessibility findings into an agreed delivery plan, implement the selected improvements and verify the result.

The difference

A working plan instead of a static error list

We document the evidence needed to understand and verify each issue. The main project artefact, however, is a prioritised work plan showing what will change, why it matters and how it will be retested.

What we can remediate

  • Semantic HTML and landmarks
  • Keyboard interactions
  • Focus order and management
  • Accessible names and states
  • Forms and error handling
  • Responsive reflow
  • Colour and focus presentation
  • Content and alternative text

Project boundaries

Some barriers may sit inside third-party platforms, checkout services or widgets that we cannot directly change. We identify these dependencies and recommend configuration, vendor escalation, replacement or an accessible alternative.

Website types

The same delivery service, different priorities

We audit first, then organise remediation around the components and journeys that matter most to your users and business.

Ecommerce websites

Protect revenue-critical journeys

A single inaccessible step can prevent a customer from completing a purchase. We prioritise reusable components and complete buying processes: search, filters, product selection, cart, checkout, payment, authentication and status updates.

When a barrier comes from a payment provider, platform extension or other third party, we document the dependency and recommend the most practical route forward.

Business and corporate websites

Improve access to content and contact

Barriers in navigation, content or enquiry forms can prevent visitors from understanding the organisation or becoming a lead. We focus on semantic structure, forms, documents, media and shared interactive components.

Fixes are grouped by root cause so improvements can be applied consistently across templates instead of page by page.

Delivery model

How remediation works

  1. 1

    Confirm

We reproduce barriers and group issues that share the same root cause.

  2. 2

    Prioritise

We balance user impact, critical processes, effort and third-party dependencies.

  3. 3

    Implement

We deliver the agreed content and code improvements in manageable batches.

  4. 4

    Retest

We verify every completed item against its accessibility acceptance criteria.

Planning and handover

Clear boundaries and evidence of what changed

Before work begins, we agree access, environments, responsibilities, delivery batches, timing and the improvements included in the price.

At the end, you receive a concise outcome summary covering completed work, retest results, remaining dependencies and recommended monitoring.

Experience and client feedback

Accessibility expertise from finding to verified fix

Our small team combines product design and UX judgement with front-end development, so findings can become practical, testable improvements.

Client feedback 01

FAQ

Audit and remediation questions

Need to discuss your website? Request an audit.

Do we need to purchase an audit first?

No. The accessibility audit is included. We use its findings to create the prioritised work plan and confirm the improvements we will implement.

Will we still receive accessibility findings?

Yes. Confirmed issues remain documented with evidence and acceptance criteria, but the main delivery tool is a prioritised work plan rather than a static PDF alone.

Who implements the changes?

Our team implements the agreed content and code improvements when the platform and access allow it. We can also work alongside your existing developers or agency and verify their changes.

What access will you need?

This depends on the platform and agreed fixes. We may need repository, CMS, test-environment or deployment-workflow access. We confirm access and responsibilities before implementation begins.

How long will remediation take?

We confirm the schedule after reviewing the website, codebase, dependencies and agreed fixes. The proposal defines the delivery batches, responsibilities and timing before implementation begins.

Can you remediate ecommerce and business websites?

Yes. The delivery model is the same, while priorities reflect the website: complete buying journeys for ecommerce, or public content and lead-generation journeys for business websites.

What happens with third-party widgets?

We identify the barrier and recommend configuration, vendor escalation, replacement or an accessible alternative when we cannot change the third-party code directly.

How do you verify completed work?

We retest each agreed improvement against the original barrier and its acceptance criteria, then summarise completed work and remaining dependencies.
